The story

The Challenge

LEGO® required a national retail maintenance and refurbishment partner responsible for preserving and enhancing LEGO® brand environments across multiple retail partners, including Toy Kingdom, Toys R Us and Certified LEGO® Stores throughout South Africa.

Our role extends beyond routine maintenance. We ensure every LEGO® retail space continues to meet the brand’s premium global standards while remaining safe, engaging and commercially effective for customers.

The solution

Our maintenance programme covers both planned and reactive services, including fixture repairs, shelving maintenance, replacement of damaged components, graphic updates, lighting repairs, vinyl replacement, joinery restoration and the manufacture of bespoke replacement elements.

By producing many of these components in-house, we are able to reduce downtime, maintain consistency across stores and extend the lifespan of existing retail assets rather than requiring complete replacements.

In addition to ongoing maintenance, we have delivered a national refresh programme for LEGO® departments within Checkers stores. To date, we have completed the refurbishment of more than 10 Checkers locations, transforming each LEGO® department through the installation of new shelving systems, the manufacture of custom LEGO® stud features, replacement display elements, updated graphics and comprehensive fixture upgrades.

Each revamp is carefully planned to minimise disruption to trading while ensuring every completed store aligns with LEGO®’s premium retail experience.

Every project is managed through the full delivery process, including site assessments, scope development, manufacturing, logistics, installation and final quality assurance. This integrated approach allows us to provide LEGO® with a single, reliable partner capable of maintaining existing stores, manufacturing bespoke retail fixtures and delivering refurbishment programmes that protect brand integrity and create an engaging shopping experience for customers across South Africa.
